The shooting that took place on July 16, 2015, outside of a U.S. military recruiting station in Chattanooga, Tennessee claimed the lives of five of our brave servicemen. Every day, military personnel are asked to stand in harm’s way to protect our freedoms. Our service members sacrifice their lives in defense of this country, and for that we are truly grateful. As your Congressman, it is my duty to make sure that our military is prepared both at home and abroad.
