Family-owned businesses and family farms that have been passed down for generations fuel our economy. Managing a small business or farm operation is no small feat, especially with the current economic climate, and especially for families, which is why it’s a shame that the federal government sees these operations as an opportunity for increased tax revenue.

This legislation would permanently repeal the death tax, which imposes an unfair and costly tax on the transfer of property, land, and other assets from a deceased family member to heirs of family farms and small businesses.
