WASHINGTON - U.S. Senators John Boozman and Tom Cotton—along with Congressmen Rick Crawford, French Hill, Steve Womack and Bruce Westerman—announced that President Donald Trump has issued an emergency declaration for Arkansas, allowing the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to provide assistance for emergency protective measures for 16 counties: Arkansas, Chicot, Conway, Crawford, Desha, Faulkner, Franklin, Jefferson, Johnson, Lincoln, Logan, Perry, Pope, Pulaski, Sebastian and Yell.

Mark Berry and Arkansas Department of Emergency Management Director A.J. Gary, as well as a flyover assessment of flooding along the river.

Asa Hutchinson's request for a federal disaster declaration due to extensive damage as a result of continued flooding and recent severe storms in the state.

Mike Kelly (R-Penn.) introduced H.R 2396, the Full Utilization of the Harbor Maintenance Trust Fund Act, which would unlock billions in already collected fees to maintain our nation's federal ports and harbors.
