In yet another attack on consumer rights, the Biden Administration’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) proposed an aggressive de facto mandate for two-thirds of all new vehicles to be electric in less than ten years. This ban on the sale of gasoline-powered cars and the mandate for the sale of EVs is just another part of Biden’s radical Green New Deal agenda.
WASHINGTON – Congressman Bruce Westerman (AR-04) joined House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee Chairman Sam Graves and 68 House Republicans in a letter to Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg demanding answers for the Biden Administration’s encouragement of the use of U.S. airports as shelters for illegal migrants.

This week, major airlines including Alaska Air, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Hawaiian Airlines, JetBlue Airways, Southwest Airlines, and United Airlines sent a letter to President Joe Biden opposing the extension of COVID-19 travel restrictions as cases, hospitalizations, and deaths caused by the Coronavirus continue to plummet and Americans across the country go about their daily lives.

Leadership starts with a strong national energy policy, and the United States must lead in our response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Everyone now knows more should have been done to stymie Russia before the invasion, but now we must look forward and lead with confidence and boldness to protect Americans and strengthen our allies in this fight for freedom.
