When my eldest son was born, he suffered from a life-threatening respiratory disease that would not respond to traditional treatments. His doctors offered us the option of an experimental treatment that was not covered by insurance. For my wife and I, it didn’t matter how much it cost. WASHINGTON - Today, Congressman Westerman (R-AR) released the following statement on the one year anniversary of President Biden's inauguration.
The U.S. Supreme Court recently struck down President Biden's and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's (OSHA) vaccine mandate on private businesses with over 100 employees. The Supreme Court serves as a check and balance on both the Executive and the Legislative branches, and, in this case, the Court demonstrated its power to protect the American people from the President's desire for more control over our lives.

The expert feedback received will help inform legislation to supercharge the availability and development of life-saving treatments, devices, and diagnostics while addressing rising patient costs.
