Bills Give Authorities “Tools Necessary to Fight Terrorism and Those Who Finance It,” Westerman Says

WASHINGTON – Congressman Bruce Westerman (AR-04) issued the following statement Tuesday (September 12) after passage of a series of anti-terrorism bills in the U.S. House of Representatives:

“This week, we remembered the lives lost on 9/11,” Westerman said. “In the years since, we have tightened our security and enhanced our laws in an effort to prevent further death and destruction on American soil and that fight continues to this very day. That is why we passed a series of bills today that will strengthen our security and give American law enforcement the tools necessary to fight terrorism and those who finance it.”
