Holiday brings delegation home

WASHINGTON -- Members of the congressional delegation were in Arkansas last week for the Memorial Day holiday.

On Monday, U.S. Sen. Tom Cotton, a Republican from Dardanelle, attended Memorial Day events in Russellville. Tuesday, he toured Experian and Time Striping in Van Buren. Wednesday, he visited Arkansas Power and Electric Inc. in Fayetteville and the Superior Linen Plant in Springdale and attended Pratt & Whitney's Springdale facility expansion announcement. On Thursday, Cotton toured the UPS facility and the Skippy Peanut Butter plant in Little Rock. Friday, he visited the Pine Bluff Arsenal and Arkansas Children's Nutrition Center.

U.S. Rep. Rick Crawford, a Republican from Jonesboro, spoke at a Memorial Day ceremony in Marshall on Monday and at the Delta Regional Community and Economic Development Conference, held at the Clinton presidential library on Wednesday.
