Delegation goes about the state

WASHINGTON -- Members of the congressional delegation were home last week. Congress return Tuesday.

U.S. Sen. John Boozman, a Republican from Rogers, met with Cabot Mayor Bill Cypert on Tuesday and with members of the Downtown Little Rock Partnership on Wednesday. On Saturday, he was scheduled to participate in the Bella Vista Fourth of July Patriot Parade.

U.S. Sen. Tom Cotton, a Republican from Dardanelle, toured Arkansas Tech University campus in Russellville on Monday, meeting with university President Robin Bowen and members of her Executive Council. On Tuesday, he talked about technological research with faculty members after touring the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville campus. He also attend the Rogers Rotary Club Meeting on Tuesday. On Wednesday, he attended the Arkansas Electric Cooperatives board meeting in Little Rock.
