Agent Orange Legislation Takes Important Step
In January, I introduced H.R. 4843 to help veterans and their families impacted by Agent Orange exposure during their service in Thailand in the Vietnam War. Yesterday, the House Committee on Veterans Affairs approved legislation that includes language from my bill that would extend benefits to individuals suffering from Spina Bifida whose parents were exposed to Agent Orange. It is an important first step as we work to secure proper benefits for all who served our country during the Vietnam War.
