Dr. Maya Angelou Special Stamp Dedication Ceremony

The Dr. Maya Angelou Forever Stamp

The new stamp will honor Dr. Angelou for her time spent as an author, poet, actress and civil rights champion. The ceremony will honor her connection to Arkansas.

The U.S. Postal Service will hold the ceremony at the Lafayette County High School in Stamps, Arkansas. The ceremony will start at 10 a.m. CT on April 8, 2015.
