Each year FEMA has over $300 million in funds that are available to provide direct financial assistance to eligible fire departments, nonaffiliated EMS Organizations and State Fire Training Academies. These grants are designated for funding critically-needed resources to equip and train emergency personnel, enhance operational efficiencies, foster interoperability and support community resilience. There are many types of grants that are available: operations and safety, vehicles, micro grants, regional applications, non-affiliated EMS and state fire training academies.

FEMA officials will conduct this workshop to help you understand the application process and period, how applications are scored and reviewed, and how to make your application the most competitive. Additionally, FEMA officials will be available to answer any questions you may have.

Call the Hot Springs District Office of Congressman Bruce Westerman if you have questions or need more information. (501) 609-9796.
